Short Story

Things will find its way

In the year 2000, in Japan. When the sky is cleared and sunny, Mizuki a

teenage student went skipping to school. She wore new uniform, a new pair

of sneakers. Mizuki’s personality is happy and energetic, but if she went

crazy things can horrible. Mizuki goes to “Karakura High School”, this year

was her third year here. She knowed most of the things about this school,

including the school most popular boy, Yuki Sohma. She went to the

classroom list and on the way she met her best friend, Machi Shihouin. They

looked at the classroom list, they were both in the same class. “Well, isn’t it

good? I love it when we study together!” said Mizuki. Machi answer: “ I

guess so, our friendship will help us study well.” Hearing those words made

Mizuki happy, she was grateful that she knowed Machi. Machi always got

high scores on her studies, she is a gentle, happy girl. Machi always speaks

with manners and helps people, she’s also very polite. Mizuki admired her

very much, they went past the corridor. Students were talking and laughting,

there were joy everywhere. Mizuki and Machi went into the classroom,

shockingly they saw Yuki sitting by the window and looking outside it.

Then he looked up and saw Mizuki and Machi, “Konichiwa, Machi.”

“Konichiwa, Mizuki.” he said. Machi answered him with her lovely, warm

smile: “Hello Yuki. Hope you have a good day.” Mizuki was stun, quickly
she answered: “Hello, Yuki.” Then she turned away, Yuki wondered why.

He decided to find out, here’s the story of how Yuki and Mizuki come

together:

After the incident at school, Mizuki noticed there was a strange feeling

in her. She can’t tell what it is, but whenever she looked at Yuki she feels

embarrassed and shy. One day, Mizuki was out walking on the streets. She

suddenly ran into Yuki, “Mizuki, what a surprise!” said Yuki. Mizuki

answered: “ It’s a pleasure meeting you outside.” They walked along the

shops looking at stuffs, then Mizuki looked at her watch she said: “ I have to

go back home, she you back in school tomorrow.” “See ya.” said Yuki.

What would other girls think about Mizuki? Back to school Mizuki told

Machi about the feeling inside her: “ I’m sure you had a crush on Yuki and

Yuki also starts to develop feelings for you. Think about that, he talks to you

every time he meets you. Though he also talks to me, but not as much as

you. I promise to keep this a secret.” The next day, Yuki announced a

project that he and the Student Council were going to held. Mizuki didn’t

listen, she was thinking about the things that Machi was saying to her

yesterday. After the speech, Machi ran to Mizuki saying: “ I saw Birch this

morning, she was talking to Yuki. I think she also likes him.” Birch is a cool

girl at school, but no boys like her. She tried to get one but failed every time

she tried. Machi & Mizuki hated her, Mizuki was hert-brokened after she

heard that. But she didn’t tell Yuki or Machi. When she got home she buried

her face in a pillow and cried.

From then on, Mizuki didn’t talk to Yuki. She avoided him every time,

he tried to get her to talk but it didn’t got well. Machi said to Yuki: “ I think

you should leave her alone for a week, maybe she’ll get better.” Yuki

followed Machi’s advice, after that Machi talked to Mizuki: “ You can’t be

like this, how could I help you if you didn’t say a word.” Mizuki replied: “ I

just don’t want to talk to him, that’s all.” With a smile and a wink Machi

said: “ If you need me, I’ll try my best to help you.” One day Mizuki came

to school with a mask and a black coat outside her, she had joined a gang.

Machi noticed the outfit, so does Yuki. But Machi told Yuki to go speak to

Mizuki, Yuki does. “ Why did you do this? Is it because Birch talks to me?”

Yuki said with anger. Mizuki couldn’t answered, her face turned hot red and

tears rolled down her cheeks. She told Yuki that she hated to saw him

surrounded by girls and most important she loved her. Yuki had to admit

that he also liked her.

For the rest of high school, Mizuki, Yuki and Machi hang out with

each other. Yuki went out with Mizuki more often, later on the three of them

both graduate high school and move on to university.

Narrative Essay

Chaos in Supermarket

Have you ever touch something in a supermarket and it nearly fell out of

its place on the shelf? Have you ever wander away from your parents and

couldn’t know the way back? I know most of you do, but maybe some didn’t

experience these things, well, if you didn’t, I’ll tell you in the next paragraph.

This story takes place in the supermarket, back when I was very little,

about from 6 to 9 years old. These were the time I usually got lost in the

supermarket, well, it happen in the summer, when the weather is very hot

here in Vietnam. My mom don’t like to stay at home, it’s too hot for her,

even when the fan is turned on and it’s blowing all the time. So she took me

to the supermarket where the air-conditioner gave out cool air and made

everybody felt comfortable. It’s a very big supermarket, there’s lots of

shelves with goods stored on it, there’s a lot of people talking and walking

looking for things to buy. My mom took me to see plates, cups and bowls.

They’re so pretty and lots of colors and patterns painted on it, curiously I

took one down and look at it. When I put it back on the shelf, I don’t put all

of it back on, I just put half of it on the shelf, so it wobbled and nearly fell

out, but luckily my mom hold it in time and put it back on. After that, she

took me to see the plastic flowers in a pot, those pots are not glass or clay

that are heated. It’s like some plastic heated and paint on it to make it look

like a pot carved out from wood, this time I also took one down to see it. Just

like the first time I put it back but just a half of it, half of it is in the air, it

almost fell off. But again my mom hold it just in time and put it back, this

time she looked sternly at me and said: “ Why don’t you keep your hands to

yourself?” I said: “ I was curious about things.” My mom said: “ Well, you

can ask me, don’t just touch everything, what if you break it? Then you’ll

have to pay money for it, it’s a waste of money if you break things. When

you grow up, if you can handle things, just pick it up carefully and don’t

drop it. Then put the whole thing back on the shelf carefully.” “Yes,

mother.” Then we went to look at clothes, I hate looking at clothes the most,

so when my mom was taking out some clothes to admire them I sneak out to

looked at the toys. When I grew tired of it, I went back to find my mom, but

the worst had just began, I can’t find my mom anywhere!!!! I ran all of the

aisles of clothes to look for her, my heart beat very fast, then I saw her

looking for me too. I ran to her and shouted: “ Ma, I’m over here.” She heard

me and ran to me, then I was saved in her arms, she was panting and so was

Then she looked at me angrily and said: “ Why do you run off like that?

You can got lost and…” She couldn’t say anymore, I said: “ I’m sorry,

Ma. I just wanted to saw the toys so badly that I forgot to told you.” “ Next

time if you want to go somewhere tell me, then I will know where you are

going, promise?” “ I promise” Then she smiled: “ That’s my good girl. Let’s

  go home.”

From then on, these events give me a lesson, never ran out of your

parents sight and respect things in the supermarket. Thanks to my mom, she

taught me a lot of things and when I think back to these events I always

smiled and remember what mom taught me.
